You want massive impact, but have little time and resources to devote to the endeavor. So what can you do?
Did it ever cross you mind that you wanted to lose weight? Of course it did! Most of us who have the convenience of packaged food and grocery stores, at one point or another, desire to lose weight. But there is so much to that process. How can anyone be successful with so much to do?
It all begins with do less to create more!
You do not need to do it ALL at one time. But because of the immediate desires of wanting it NOW, you seemed pressed for time and it the syndrome of “ALL IN”.
This “All In” attitude can be good at times. However, if you subject yourself to that mentality, then you are setting yourself up for failure.
You want success!
And success comes in little packages…Do less to create more!
So what can you do to lose the weight. You start small. Choose one area you can focus on and practice it everyday without fail. For example, you have a job that keeps you at your desk primarily. Therefore, exercise is important in your daily routine since you don’t get much of it.
Make a pledge to yourself to have intentional movement for 20-30 minutes a day, 2-3 times per week. That’s it. You can find a total of 1 hour in your 168 hours a week. Let’s break down what that would look like.
- Average 7 hours of sleep per night (49 hours)
- Work a total of 40 hours per week plus commute time (45 hours)
- Morning and evening routines add up to 2 hours per day (14 hours)
- Eating meals 2 times each day at 1 1/2 hours (10 1/2 hours)
- General duties like housework, laundry, etc. (5 hours)
- Intentional movement/exercise for 20 minutes, 3 times per week (1 hour)
WOW! You have 43.5 hours left in your week. That’s an average of 6.21 hours per day! And you thought you didn’t have any time or resources.
Most of what we want ends up being what we don’t want to work for because it’s just that… WORK!
Anything worth having in life takes work.
By doing less to create more, you are setting yourself up for success. And the secret is, you are developing daily goals (which are those crazy things called habits). No one wants to work on habits. So what’s in a name. Instead, do less to create more and you will get massive impact.
This doesn’t work on only weight loss. It can be applied to any area in your life, whether you’re building a business, homeschooling your children, working on your marriage, or becoming your best selfie.

Follow it up with something small.
