But my concern with this incredibly good news is we are drifting away from Him. We are in search of hope in all the wrong places.
Filling our days with activities to draw our attention away from where we are to go.
Focusing more on what is what we want to feel right now and giving up on working for what is eternal.
Why would God give us an incredible gift of eternal life, only for us to sacrifice it with our poor decisions and attractions to earthly things?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” ~ John 3:16-17
You have been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
God has given you a gift.
Don’t throw it away for convenience or immediate gratification.
Hope has a name. His name is Jesus!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Hope has a name. His name is Jesus!
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” ~ Hebrews 13:8
Start your day off with “Hope has a name.”
When you are feeling frustrated, speak “Hope has a name.”
You are loved.
You are worthy.
“Hope has a name. His name is Jesus!”
