How many times in the day do you raise your voice breaking the sound barrier? The power of a mother’s whisper can be heard more clearly than that of a loud yell.
Yet we are so quick to react and put out the fire. But what is really SO pressing that requires yelling from the top of our lungs?

I’ve done it more than I care to admit. And jokingly, I call it momma’s built-in intercom system.
There are times that require an intercom system. There’s no way around it. You need to belt out your words to grab their attention. And we do it quite proudly.
However, is that your normal conversing voice with your children? With your husband?
- When it’s time to go to school, do you yell 3 or 4 times to get everyone loaded up so you aren’t late?
- Is that how you communicate when calling them down for dinner?
- As your children are running around and playing, do you shout out their name and expect them to respond quickly?
“If we are living our lives on edge all the time, then there’s no room for living our lives in the present.” ~ Kristianne Wargo
You are training yourself, your children, and the family that the only way to live is to be on the edge. Putting the fires out are always the priority.
Drama fills the home with tension and anxiety. No one is relaxed and everyone is frustrated.
Everyone is competing by conversing the loudest, including you, Mom! You have to be loud to be heard and noticed.
All we want in life is to know and be known.
That translates to the fundamental need to be loved. We want to be noticed. We want to be heard.
For the health and sanity of you and your family, you must tap into the power of a mother’s whisper.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Tap into the power of your whisper!
The whisper of love!
1. The tenderness of the voice resonates the heartstrings! It prepares the heart to respond.
2. The tone envelops the need to be known. It wraps you up in love.
3. The texture emphasizes the importance. It gives the unique quality only recognizable to the ones you love.
The power of a mother’s whisper goes deeper than the volume you create with your vocal cords. Save your voice and expand your heart.
Your love isn’t proven by the decibels you hit. It’s absorbed by the impact of your words; quietly whispered amongst the winds in the air. Shattering the brick walls that bind the heart, unveiling the hurt for healing to begin. Love is in the air; the power of mother’s whisper.
“Raise your children to rise up. The battle is won with a mother’s whisper.”
