Everybody dreams! What is your most recent dream that you’re chasing? Like with anything, dreams come with responsibility.
But dreaming shouldn’t include work. It’s more fun to dream. It’s even more fun to expand your dreams and build on them.

However, dreams come and go. And when dreams change, so do plans.
Have you ever been able to see it but not reach it?
Dreams come with responsibility.
When the dream changes, are you willing to adjust the plan in order to live out your dream? Or are you too stubborn to make the changes with what is required of you?
Have you ever noticed that it’s easier to dream when it’s within our own parameters? We set the rules and make alterations as we see fit.
But what if you are making changes only to stay stuck in your own dreams?
Have you ever thought about what might be expected from you looking at it from God’s perspective?
You might only see “Plan A”, and then make adjustments for “Plan B”. Ultimately, they are still very similar.
Yet with God’s perspective, your plans might be misguided by yourself. God’s plan might be your only “Plan A”, it’s just that you aren’t willing to look beyond what only you can see.
In addition, your schedule is so wrapped up in your tangible plans, you forget that you have to make space for God’s plan.
Maybe you need to get better at saying “No”, or maybe saying “Yes” to the right things.
Dreams come with responsibility.
Let’s put a twist on the term “dream” and change it to “purpose”. You were created on purpose for a purpose. Would this make you look at dreams differently if it was defined more as your purpose?
Dreams and purpose are used interchangeably. Or we tend to connect them. Some people think of their dreams as something so great they may not be able to reach them. Once again, boundaries are set —- by YOU!!
If you know you have a life’s purpose, then are you doing what is required of you to live it out?
Most of us are hiding behind what we know. It’s less complicated to work in our comfort, than to press beyond the unknown.
Yet there you stay hunkered down in the corner you know too well. “Here I will stay and make little adjustments with the hope of making a way for my dreams, my purpose.”
Are you trying to control every move or are you surrendering your dream, your purpose?
Dreams come with responsibility.
If you are trying to control every move, orchestrating the outcome, maybe your “BUTs” are getting in the way.
You have to be willing to go the extra mile to get to greatness, seeing your dreams come true.
Dreams come with responsibility.
All this means that you have to be willing to expect the unexpected.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Expect the unexpected!
When you say “Yes”, you have no idea what you’re saying “Yes” to. In fact, you might be planted in a situation where you wish you were not experiencing it. Yet, this might be exactly where you need to grow and be stretch into your dream, your purpose.
“Am I being tested?” You very well might be. So you feel you’re trapped in a dead-end. You have a divine purpose, a heavenly dream.
Dreams come with responsibility where you expect the unexpected.
- Say “YES” with no expectations. You can’t place conditions on God. You may want to define exactly the path you will travel, but remember, God’s got you! You have to be willing to say “YES” even when you question it.
- Trust the process. There are some things in life that require you to work through a system. And believe it or not, that could be an “earthly” system (what you know) and a “heavenly” system (what is unknown). What you can see verse what God sees.
- Walk by faith. This is where you are willing to take the next step. Yes, you can question God. He invites you into conversation. But you have to live out your dream, your purpose as God plans out the path.
Your head and heart have to connect. Your disconnect could be between the 16-18 inch drop. Don’t get stuck in only what you see, in only what you want.
Your messes are your blesses in disguise. Don’t try so hard. Let God show you the way. You need to be willing to live out your dreams.
