The billboards in the mind shout loudly what can’t happen. Everything falls short, especially you.

Yet really who is the one at fault? Are you solely to blame? Or are you just accepting the consequences as excuses so you don’t have to change?

But one forgets about the heart. It’s not quick to fail. In fact, it’s steady beat keeps your hope alive; you’re alive!

There’s friction amongst your self-talk. At one moment, all is glory. The next all is fatal. You can’t win for losing. You try to visualize the tree in the forest, but all you grasp is the twig at your feet.

Overwhelm blinds your sight and silences your beat. Your breath is shallow. The climb is too steep.

No matter the challenge, no matter the hurt, get up and rejoice. You are not alone in the battle that’s before you. The road less traveled has already been walked by God whose love and grace goes beyond the dirt and the sky.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Count it all as joy!

Don’t give in to what you can’t control. Pass all of it on to God who can.

Where do you stand today? Is your heart heavy-burdened? Maybe you have a few deadlines that are consuming your thoughts.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13

I want to encourage you to not get overwhelmed by all the expectations you have placed on yourself and those placed on you by others.

Take a deep breath! Breathe in the life of goodness and hope. Relish in the fact that God will never leave you. Now, you might feel alone at times. But toss that thought out the window.

God’s got you ALWAYS, even when you abandon Him.

You might be experiencing the “Super Bowl” of your life, whether that is good or bad. All of it can be overwhelming.

What happens today and into tomorrow, God is prepared!

This is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

All the challenges. All the celebrations.
