Unfortunately, the way our foods are processed and labeled confuses what is really happening.
You might read a label that makes it appear the food is “real”. But after analyzing it, you realize that is not the case.
When nothing is for sure, nothing is done. And that’s why it’s easier to do what you’re used to; how you were raised or what you like.
There appears to be no method to the madness of healthy eating.
So give yourself some grace and let’s simplify in seconds.

Why complicate something that is sustenance? Because typically, confusion encourages easy choices.
Food choices come from emotions, mood, location, family, money, and budget. However, forget about the why and focus instead on the what: quantity and quality.
When talking about quantity, usually we are talking about food in terms of numbers: calories, grams of fat compared to protein, percentage of our daily vitamin C, how many added sugars, and so on.
But today, focus on quality.

- Choose unprocessed foods
- Eat in-season foods
