Life gets crazy and you can overthink everything. Yet at the same time, it can be full of blessings. Sit back and enjoy the moment regardless of the shenanigans that come your way.
Yesterday was the beginning of a long weekend. My daughter came into town with my grandson, and their puppy dog while daddy is off at training for the weekend.

My house was full of all my babies. As the evening passed, I watched how my children have grown up.
You always hear how fast time flies. And you know it, but you don’t know it until you really experience it.
And that was my moment!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Sit back and enjoy the moment!
We can get so wrapped up in all the craziness and to-dos, we overlook what is right in front of us.
And if we were honest, how much are we really present?
That’s something I work very hard to accomplish daily.
And the cool thing is, I got caught being present yesterday.
My daughter was finishing up her meal, and she decided to share a little with the puppy. Well, I was observing from afar, when some spilled out on the white pillow.
Now honestly, that didn’t bother me. But soon after, my daughter whispers to her sister (my other daughter) the exclamation that they hope mom doesn’t see.
And here I sat seeing everything. She then exclaims, “That never goes away. You always see everything!”
I just giggled and my heart smiled SO BIG!!!! I was present and do my best to always be in that groove.
So mom (and dad), I want to encourage you today to be present, to sit back and enjoy the moment. Not because you want to catch them doing something wrong. But because you want to be a part of their every day.
Life is TOO short and oh so precious!! Life is a gift, but somehow, in some way, we turn our every day into bickering, fussing, and complaining.
We find everything wrong instead of seeing what’s right.
Promise yourself from this day forward, you will sit back and enjoy the moment!
