With the new year vastly approaching, goal-setting typically drives preparation for new possibilities leading to your success. But is success found by achieving your goals?
Let’s look at the goals you set for this year. Did you meet all your goals?

If you did, it’s pretty quick to reason that you were successful this year.
But what if your goals were not met? What if you only made $25,000 more than your original projection based on sales?
Or you might have lost only 19 lbs. instead of your goal of 30 lbs. Then, there could be taking a vacation for an extra two weeks. but you only squeezed in one week.
And what about spending more time with your spouse, the one that sleeps next to you? Maybe you had hoped to work on a few specific areas in your marriage, however, you barely made time for date night.
How do your results based on your goal-setting describe your success?
Are you a failure? Or would you call it a successful year?
Depending on your attitude at the moment, you could reason out both of them.
But statistically, you are still more accomplished than 90% of people in the world.
So what if you looked at goal-setting in a different manner? Not to create daily to-do lists, but to grow and stretch you in all areas of life (i.e., financial, physically, emotionally, relationally, personally, professionally, and spiritually).
The K.I.S.S. ~ Use G.O.A.L.-setting to grow and stretch you!
How would that shift your perspective on success?

So what are you waiting for? Let’s create the groundwork. Now, remember, you can always use the S.M.A.R.T. to help in defining each goal.
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable/Attainable
- Realistic/Relevant
- Timely
However, you want to attack the goal so you can Go Out And Live!
- Grind the possibilities. This is where you brainstorm all your thoughts and ideas.
- Organize your priorities. What matters to you in this season and year?
- AIM to prepare and produce. Action ignites motivation.
- Lead with your presence. No goal can be met unless you are present.
