Sometimes we can get ourselves wrapped around an outcome, that it creates blinders for us not to see.

Therefore leaving us missing what God wants us to see because we are waiting.

Where do you think you lie on the waiting spectrum?

• Are you impatient and want to control?
• Are you focused more on your expectations?
• Are you blinded by what you long to see?
• Are you consistent with your walk and patient in your talk?

The K.I.S.S. ~ Wait upon the Lord!

What does that mean to you? Have you waited and not gotten the answer you wanted therefore you became distracted once again?

God will open and close doors. But in waiting, that can also mean taking action.

Your decision on what you should see while waiting can actually detract away from God. Your expectations of how things should look or how God will show up might be the very reason why you are still waiting.

You are looking for your expectations in the heavenly winks from God.

God can come in the softest whisper and show you or tell you what to do. However, if you are expecting more pomp and circumstance, you might miss the turn.

CHALLENGE: Don’t let your wait be only what you are looking for. You will miss the boat.

Be aware and rest knowing you are willing to walk through the open doors and even knock on others. God will direct your path, but that requires you to walk in step with Him.

God has a plan for your life. He knows where you are going.

But you that wait upon the Lord shall renew your strength; you shall mount up with wings as eagles; you shall run, and not be weary; and you shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Understand that your wait is not dependent on not moving, but taking what God gives you and being faithful to where He directs you. The wait is being content with the journey you are on; yet steadfast in your faith of knowing to rest.

I REST knowing… I am in partnership with You, Lord.
I REST knowing… Holy Spirit, You are working on my behalf.
I REST knowing… I am Your daughter/son.
I REST knowing… God, You are always good!
I REST knowing… God, You are above my circumstances.
I REST knowing… God, You are in charge.
I REST knowing… God, You always come through, you are faithful.
I REST knowing… God, You are my steps and I will move with You as You direct.

My wait is not in lack of, but in plentiful steadfast faith.
