Your circumstances and situations can rock your world for better or for worse. If you are not grounded in God’s word and draw near to Him, it’s tempting to become unglued.

The unraveling of your days is just beginning.

So instead of getting frustrated and angry with your earthly surroundings, it’s time to make peace.

The K.I.S.S. ~ It’s time to make peace!

How quickly we forget that our peace in life is not situationally-based. Your circumstances can be devastating, but you still can have peace. Not because of what you control in your every day, but who controls your every day.

And the who is Jesus Christ.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” ~ Psalm 91:1

An easy life doesn’t dictate whether or not you have peace. True peace only comes from God.

When you are facing armies of problems, cry out to God.

God’s got you!

This week has somewhat challenged my patience. My home was literally being shredded because of one water line. And this water line has been a thorn in my side for almost 2 years.

But as days turned to weeks into months, all I could do is trust that God had a plan. He knew what would happen and how every piece of the puzzle fit together.

So I trusted. I let my faith lead my response. Yes, water is great in the shower, or outside for vegetation. But inside my home — no more.

As the plumbers took out sections of walls and ceilings in multiple rooms (at least seven rooms), it was all I could do.

My heart cried out, “Lord, I know You hold in Your hand the smallest of things. Please hold our home in Your hand, too.”

Looking back over the last 600 days, I can see how God has woven everything so precisely and beautifully.

In the moment, I didn’t always understand. However, I carried the peace that passes all understanding.

CHALLENGE: Where do you need God today in your life? Where do you need to release control and let Him weave together His heavenly plans?

CAUTION: No matter how hard you try, God’s way is always better.

CELEBRATION: Exalt what God is doing in your life even if you don’t understand.

Remember, the peace is not wrapped up in what you are doing, but how He is moving!

It’s time to make peace. God’s got you!
