We can become so wrapped up in the stuff of life; building your business, raising your children, the daily responsibilities, errands, taking care of yourself, exercise, eating healthy, working on your marriage.
All of this takes an enormous amount of strength, endurance, and energy.
But what happens is we end up running circles and becoming ragged, plain worn out! And the need for motivation increases. The inspiration fades and it becomes more about survival. What happened to “thriv-ival”,
“Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7
There’s a portion of the passage you are familiar with… “Don’t worry, pray about everything… and then thank Him.”
The part that is missed!
