Good posture brings balance in your health. Without it, you can have some negative effects.

Possible Negative Effects:

  • Sore muscles
  • Spinal curvature
  • Vertebrae misalignment
  • Blood vessel constriction
  • Nerve constriction

If this sounds appealing to you, then continue to slouch.

Good posture matters! You matter!!!

The K.I.S.S. ~ Stand Up Straight!

  1. Chin parallel to the floor. (Stuck up Suzy!)
  2. Shoulders back and down.
  3. Neutral spine.
  4. Arms at your side.
  5. Abdominals engaged.
  6. Tuck under your pelvic floor. Don’t stick out your butt trying to create a “butt”.
  7. Soft knees, no locking.
  8. Legs shoulder-width a part.
  9. Weight evenly distributed on your feet.
  10. Shift from one foot to the other foot when standing for a long period of time.

Sitting Posture:

  • Keep the same posture. You’re just sitting on your bottom. Stay tall. Stuck up Suzy! You got this!
